Chef Kamal and Jatin moved to Australia in 2007 to pursue careers in hospitality and professional cookery, specialising in Asian cuisine.
Together they have over a decade of culinary experience, working across Asian, Thai, Continental and Fine Dining restaurants.
Although they each bring different strengths and expertise, they share one passion — creating authentic Asian food using traditional techniques and quality ingredients.


Serving the Sunshine Coast.
Since 2013, they have proudly served the Sunshine Coast community through their restaurants in Bli Bli and Burnside, continually refining their knowledge of authentic Thai cooking.
Today, Marcoola Thai continues that journey by bringing together centuries of family-inspired recipes with modern presentation.
